The Entrepreneurship Hub Sustainability Treasure Hunt is an interactive, campus-wide challenge designed to engage students in discovering how sustainability is embedded across the University of Ottawa.

Through a team-based scavenger hunt, participants explore key sustainability initiatives, services, and spaces while learning how environmental, social, and economic responsibility is integrated into campus life. The activity promotes experiential learning, collaboration, and systems thinking in a fun and accessible format.

Students work in teams to solve clues, complete sustainability-themed challenges, and connect with campus partners. By navigating real spaces and programs, participants gain a deeper understanding of how individual actions, institutional structures, and community engagement intersect to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Treasure Hunt culminates in a friendly competition, with one team receiving a cash prize and an equivalent donation made to a charitable organization in their name, reinforcing social responsibility and collective impact.

This activity supports SDG Month Canada by advancing sustainability awareness, student leadership, and community engagement, while contributing to Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12).
