Team Feud is an interactive, team-based sustainability game inspired by Family Feud that engages students in learning about waste reduction, responsible consumption, and sustainable habits through play.

Hosted by the Telfer Competitions Committee, this fast-paced activity invites participants to test their knowledge of zero-waste practices, sustainability myths, and everyday solutions. Working in teams, students explore how individual and collective choices influence waste generation on campus and beyond.

By combining friendly competition with evidence-based learning, the session promotes environmental awareness, critical thinking, and peer-to-peer education. The game format lowers barriers to participation and creates an inclusive, welcoming environment for students from all disciplines.

The activity culminates in a team challenge, with one team receiving a cash prize and an equivalent donation made to a charitable organization in their name, reinforcing social responsibility and collective impact.

This activity supports SDG Month Canada by advancing Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), while fostering sustainable behaviour change among youth.
