ABOUT
SDG Month Canada (formerly SDG Week Canada) is a national collaborative initiative that invites all of Canada’s universities and colleges to organize workshops, panels and other interactive programming to increase awareness of and engagement with the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
SDG Month will be held during March 2026. Stay tuned for more information and how to get involved!

Bring SDG Month to your campus.
Once registered, you can submit your SDG events to the Event Calendar to participate in SDG Month Canada 2025. Participants will have access to resources and materials to support SDG Month Canada event planning and delivery on their campuses.
Campus representatives are invited to express their interest in participating in SDG Month Canada as a promotions and/or programming partner.
SDG MONTH 2026
How it works
Launching SDG Month Canada requires partner collaborations to support planning, coordination, promotion and delivery.
The levels of such support are varied and flexible depending on partner capacity and resources.
Timeline
- November 2025: Launch of SDG Month
- November 2025 – February 2026: Event Planning
- January – February 2026: Submit events for online calendar
- March 2026: SDG Month starts!
Promotions Partner
A low-level engagement option that involves promoting programming on social media and other communications platforms.
PRogramming Partner
A mid-level engagement option, which includes contributing at least one event to SDG Month Canada programming.
