DESCRIPTION:The RRC Polytech SDG Student Competition invites RRC Polytech students to showcase projects\, research\, and assignments that contribute to sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students from all programs are encouraged to submit work that demonstrates innovative ideas\, practical solutions\, or critical thinking related to environmental\, social\, or economic sustainability. \n\n\n\nEligible submissions may include course assignments\, capstone projects\, applied research\, case studies\, or other projects developed as part of their studies at RRC Polytech. SUMMARY:The First Canadian-Austrian Sustainability Challenge: Algoma University and WU Vienna
DESCRIPTION:The first Canadian pilot of the Sustainability Challenge\, an interdisciplinary\, practice-oriented course jointly developed by Algoma University and Wirtschafts universität Wien (WU\, Vienna University of Economics and Business)\, one of Europe’s leading business universities. This innovative course challenges students to tackle real-world sustainability problems through collaborative\, solutions-oriented learning\, bridging academic theory with community impact. Canada’s inaugural pilot marks the beginning of a growing partnership with WU Vienna\, with plans to expand the program to additional post-secondary institutions across Canada in 2027. \n\n\n\nThe event is also featuring the Anji Inaashkawun team initiatives for caring for water in the Upper Great Lakes region. \n\n\n\nThis event is part of SDG Month Canada\, March 2026!
