Bird-Friendly Campus Discussion Forum
March 23 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm EDT

Join us on Monday, March 23rd from 5:30-7pm for an open discussion forum on how we can make Queen’s a bird-friendly campus! Situated along a key ecological corridor for many local and migratory bird species, Queen’s has a fundamental role to play in protecting our native bird populations, but bird collisions with windows are a major source of mortality in urban environments like Kingston. Kingston is now making strides to become part of the national Bird Friendly City program by Nature Canada, and as a student-led group at Queen’s University, we want to make sure Queen’s can contribute to this amazing initiative! For more information and to learn more about the Society for Conservation Biology Kingston Chapter’s initiatives, please make sure to follow us on Instagram @scb_kingston or check out our (new!) website at https://scbkingston.ca/
